WhatsGo Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Overview

WhatsGo is a utility that helps you open WhatsApp chats without saving a number, create message templates, favorites, and reminders. WhatsGo is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Information we process

WhatsGo does not upload your WhatsApp messages or your device contact list. If you choose to sign in, we process your account information supplied by Firebase Authentication, such as your email address, display name, and sign-in provider.

For signed-in users, selected app preferences, custom message templates, and saved favorites (which may include names and phone numbers) can be stored in Firebase Firestore so they can be restored on another device. Reminders, recent numbers, and local chat history remain on the device where they are created.

Permissions

Notifications are used only for reminders you create. Contacts access is requested only when you choose to import a contact; imported contact information stays on your device unless you explicitly save it as a synced favorite. WhatsGo does not request SMS or location access.

Advertising

WhatsGo may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and advertising information under Google's policies to provide and measure advertising. WhatsGo requests non-personalized ads. You can remove ads through the optional Google Play subscription where available.

Purchases

Remove-ads purchases are processed by Google Play. WhatsGo does not collect or store your card or other payment details. Purchase status is stored on your device and can be restored through Google Play using the same Google account.

How information is used and shared

We use information only to provide account access, sync the app data described above, show advertising, and improve app reliability. Information is not sold. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate WhatsGo: Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, Google AdMob for advertising, and Google Play for purchases. Opening a chat transfers you to WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business, whose privacy policies then apply.

Retention, security, and deletion

Data is transmitted using HTTPS. Uninstalling WhatsGo removes the app's local data but does not remove data previously synced to your signed-in account. To request deletion of account-linked synced data, contact us at raoh93135@gmail.com.

Request account deletion

To request deletion of your WhatsGo account and its associated synced data, email raoh93135@gmail.com from the account email address, with the subject “WhatsGo account deletion”. Include the email address used to sign in to WhatsGo.

We will delete the account-linked profile and synced preferences, templates, and favorites within 30 days of verifying the request. Some information may be retained when required for legal, fraud prevention, or accounting purposes. Local app data can also be removed immediately by uninstalling WhatsGo.

Children

WhatsGo is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to use the service. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when WhatsGo changes. The current version will always be available at this page. For privacy questions, contact raoh93135@gmail.com.
